As far back as the third millennium B.C, the Indus Valley has been producing Carnelian. It is believed that this mineral was first discovered in the Bengal region of India. Soon being used in the bead trade to Mesopotamia. This Carnelian pendants source is from that same Valley. Found, shaped and polished at least 75yrs ago.
